The Ludhiana Airport, also known as Sahnewal Airport, is the local airport serving the city of Ludhiana in Punjab. Located near the town of Sahnewal on the Grand Trunk Road, it is nearly 5 kilometers southeast of Ludhiana. The airport covers an area of more than 130 acres. Until 2014, Air India Regional used to operate an ATR-42 aircraft from the airport to Delhi. Currently, there are direct flights to New Delhi, which are operated by Air India Regional. Also, there are indirect flights via New Delhi that connect several other cities, such as Mumbai, Goa, and Bengaluru.
