Pune International Airport, an airport that comes under Airports Authority of India, offers both domestic and international flight services. The airport is located on the eastern side of Indian Air Force’s Lohegaon Air Force Station, approximately 10 km from the Pune city center. It was established as a base for the Great Britain’s Royal Air Force in 1939 and declared as a custom airport in January 1997. It features 2535-meter-long runway and is well-connected to major Indian cities such as Bangalore, New Delhi, Chennai, and many more.
