The Raipur Airport, now called as Swami Vivekananda Airport, is the primary airport serving the state of Chhattisgarh. The airport is located at Mana, between Raipur and Naya Raipur in Chhattisgarh, and is the 28th busiest airport in India in terms of passenger traffic. In 2012, the airport was renamed after Swami Vivekananda. The apron has a helipad and 5 parking bays for aircraft.
There are plenty of museums to visit in Raipur, including Mahant Ghasidas Memorial Museum, Mahakoshal Art Gallery, and Purkhouti Muktangan. Ghatarani Waterfalls is one of the scenic places to visit. Other places worth visiting include Udanti Sanctuary, Nandan Van Zoo and Safari, Gandhi Udyan Park, and Urja Park. Some famous temples in Raipur are Jatmai Temple, Kevalya Dham Jain Temple, ISKCON Raipur, and Dudhadari Temple.
